What hat are you waiting for today?

I missed out on a long-hair Stetson western in my size that was local to me (as I had to deal with an issue with the dogs at the time of the auction end). To console myself I tossed out a bid and won this. Not long-haired or my size, but it is a Stetson — in a color I’ve not often seen with...

    Vintage neon signs

This came across my Facebook feed. Roy Barnes Western Supplies, 5800 Federal Blvd, Denver, 1950s - The neon sign on the building was animated and featured a cowboy roping a calf against a western landscape. The sign was purchased from Roy Barnes in the late 1980s and resold to a...

1950s and probably local to me originally. From Brad Bowers: 1950s Factory Label The decade of the 1950s saw the standardized factory labels change again as new printing equipment was put into use. These labels were used across all of Hat Corporation of America’s lines until sometime after...

Derby, Western, Fedora...a Venerable Legend, THE Stetson 3X...BEFORE 1970!!!!

Very cool! Most "centennial" hats I see are cheap wool derbies or westerns. Ashenhurst's in Lebanon: Second and third (white front) buildings on the right. My wife's Dad was from Lebanon (graduating high school in 1955).
