Welllllll- that is how good ideas are born... It will be tough to find such a jacket in blue/white. I am wondering if Johnson Leathers or Regius can make you one. With midnight blue leather...that would be killer.
I wore a couple of jackets I wanted stretched. First I got into a shower in one. Then I took it off, put on a couple of bulky sweatshirts, put the jacket back on, and wore it for like 12 hours. It stretched alright. My wife didn't say anything, just looked at me.
I have Tony's jacket. Stuff is quality, just a click or two below what TFL considers top quality makers. Made in Thailand, cow with massive amount of pull up on mine.
Whoever came up with the abbreviation F. HEAD obviously has poor knowledge of English connotations . Or maybe it is only my dirty mind. Reminds me of a sign found in one overseas hotel: "The manager personally passed all the water in this hotel". Lol. Sorry for being off topic, and possibly off...
Sweet Cal. I have an identical-sized one, also unlabeled, but the back is 24", so that eases the pain of shortness a bit. But shortness is the nature of the beast with those Cals. The front hits at half-buckle on mine, which is borderline okay. Shorter guys with shorter torsos will do extremely...
Of course I am posing in this Cal. No way I am wearing this beast in South Florida for any length of time. But...in five short weeks I will be heading to the EU, and taking my two Cals with me. They will join the Spiegel, the Wolf, the Kit Karson and the rest of my small collection over there...
Man, I am now nervous...lol. Hope it works for you. It is a marathon not a sprint, I wore it as underlayer for about 2 hours every day for about 6 months while biking. Perspiration, movement, abrasion, they all add up.
Pretty funny video. The guy is entertaining. I once used a screwdriver to button my 22-oz Tanuki Yoroi indigo canvas pants, before the button holes worked themselves more forgiving. Good thing I am still here to tell the tale. Dangerous business. Lol.
Wearing a denim jacket as underlayer if you want to get quicker/better defined fades makes sense - absent washing, fades are caused by abrasion, nothing else. The overlayer abrades the denim underlayer more than if the denim serves as an overlayer. In the first case the contact is constant, in...
Thanks Ton. There is a story behind these fades. About a year ago I got interested in those Instagram denim fades competitions. I figured, what the hell, I am retired, I have a new denim jacket, lemme try to compete with those young whippersnappers. I had some questions to the organizers, but...
