for me it depends on the jacket style. Some just don't work as well stylistically in the CXL, and some like the motorcycle crosszip styles don't work in the Vicenza in terms of practicality
It's such a timeless classic style that literally anyone can wear it. I've seen men of all shapes, sizes, ages, etc wearing them and it never looks bad. You don't need to be of a certain "type" to pull it off. Only time it ever looks bad is if other cheesy elements are involved, like fringe, hot...
I like the idea of a jacket straightening/flattening out when hanging in the closet between wearings, not having creases being accentuated and allowed to settle in over the years. So I'll be addressing this hanger issue with my Aeros.

All my jackets are on their jacket hangers, and all my shirts are on their 19" shirt hangers. All my Aeros have the creases when hanging on these jacket hangers...
Took a look in the closet and my Aeros all have this shoulder folds thing they mention. But my 2 non-Aero jackets (Himel & Freewheelers) do NOT. Those 2 are fine and dandy on their hangers.
I had one of their Luftwaffe jackets in brown back around 2013. Not sure if it was the new or old HH. It was listed as Japanese on their site at the time. It was really nice, complex brown with lots of overtones. Had a clear coat shiny finish. Wasn't stiff at all compared to Aero's CXLHH...
