As a owner of a few vintage watches I have not experienced zipper issues but have had snap issues. I tend to keep the cuffs on my jackets unsnapped. With my larger watches some times I can hear the bottom of the snap hit the crystal. As stated above the type of crystal will make a difference on...
Hi Tillman,
Yes the jacket is still available and know it would be going to a great customer. Via USPS Priority Mail International 6-10 days with insurance for (500) about $91.00. Priority Mail Express 3-5 business days with insurance for (500) about $101.00. I wasn't sure how much you wanted...
Never got to really wear this jacket so it's time to pass it on.

CXL Horween Black Horse Hide in 3-1/2oz - 3 3/4oz.
It has a hound's-tooth cotton lining from Japan for the body and black nylon lining for the...
I can tell you from my experience with zippers, leather and crazy glue do not try this. I have had customers come into our shop and tell me the zipper was separating from the tape and they tried crazy glue and the results were a disaster. The crazy glue made the tape stiff and cracked the...
I made myself a navy Chore Coat around the end of 2018 but never got around to wearing it. A bit on the heavy side for me at 3.5oz. Looking to pass it along to a member so it can enjoy being worn. Details listed below are as follows.
Chore Coat
Navy Naked cowhide 3.5oz
Cotton lining
Two inside...
CXL leather is a beast so don't worry about rain or snow however I would avoid lighting :) for sure. This is one of my customers with a 4oz. CXL in a bit of falling snow.
Churchill (JRC) around since1890 makes amazing gloves old school and for warmth the thinsulate lined glove is great. We sell them to just about all the police departments in the Bay Area and the Highway Patrol.
Another great glove company is Sullivan Glove Company around since 1941 I think. The...
Update to this story.
Brooks marked his 111th year with a private party at his home. The museum delivered his birthday cards and helped arrange a socially distant celebration, complete with military aircraft flyovers.
"There was a private celebration. The Victory Belles trio sang to him and...
I would not recommend silk for your jacket it will not hold up in the long run. I would only use silk in a lambskin jacket but still would advise against it. Hope this helps.
My vote is for number three as well. I have the same lining ( mine is 100% cotton flannel 20oz.) in one of my heavy horse hide jackets and it looks and wears well.
Just thought I share this story and would spread some love and birthday whish's to this WW ll veteran. Sorry if it's a bit long but couldn't resist the story.
For the past five years, WWII Army veteran Lawrence Brooks has celebrated his birthday with pomp and ceremony — and lots of cake — at...
We are safe and well and appreciate your ongoing support of us. Hope you are safe and well also.
Looks like we will have some fire fighters' coming to the bay area from your part of the world. They came a few years ago to help with the last fire storm we had in the north bay.
Shoutout to...
This is definitely not one of my jackets. I do hear from time to time about made up labels and brands. I guess the name and city San Francisco just sounded good to them.
This jacket is our MB-500 in about a 3.5-3.75oz cowhide. Often customers pull out the sizing tag not sure why.
That label is the second one we ever used from about the 84 until the late 90"s. We did a limited run of jackets a few years ago to celebrate our 38th year and used that label. I can...
