VFW's gotta be neutral ground. I mean, you're all veterans.I walked into a VFW…and it was stocked with Bandidos. I was committed so didn’t do an about face. One quick beer and good conversation…and I quietly sauntered on out. Right when I thought questions were about to be asked. I’d miss you guys. Lol. Another story for my memoirs to-be. Some serious menfolk to be respected for sure.
At another joint and holding fort with a supporting club. Gotta watch where I go I guess. I love Texas.
gotta look it up next time I'm in the shop. I'm having a custom m500 made right nowWe do this is our stock M-200.

Too bad about the sleeve shortening otherwise nice for a rare California jacket

There was a time leather jackets were worn while working not just to collect or worn for stylewhat a steal. wow. I think I'm good in this department, but it's tempting. What is it with the paint stains too on these kinds of jackets LOL. I swear, about half my Cals had various paint stains. I guess it's law enforcement, bikers, and painters who rock this style.
The M-200 is what we call a life after bike jacket it's built for riding but can be worn anywhere.Hi Alan, I'm the lucky recipient of this one and just wondered if you could tell me more about the leather?
Thanks

Thanks for the info Alan, much appreciated. The patina looks awesome, looking forward to its arrival. My first JL but will definitely look at a new build with you folks in the future. The M-200 is what we call a life after bike jacket it's built for riding but can be worn anywhere.
It was made in a 3.5oz. naked cowhide. Based on the patina of the jacket I guess it must be around 25 years old.
