    My understanding is that Toni was formerly with Aero Leathers and has a lot of experience. But yes, I guess you could consider these as apprentice-made jackets under the Field Leathers brand. Hence the discounted price.

    +1 to that. It depends how long your torso is. I'm 180cm and also prefer a 24 inch back because I have long legs. Makes it harder to buy off-the-rack jackets because I need a longer sleeve length compared to back length.

    Great jacket! If I'm not mistaken this is the navy CXL. I was eyeing this as well when it was last posted but the length didn't work for me. Might help others to know that it's not black CXL. GLWS

    Thanks for such a well-written, elaborate response to my question. I guess if the zip is wavy, the tumbling is done post-completion of the jacket as opposed to Aero's offering of tumbled CXL where the leather is tumbled before the jacket is put together? (This is purely speculation on my part)...
