Not sure where I got the impression that the older models tend to fit smaller but the measurements you posted for the 42 Delraiser in the very first post of the thread seem to be TTS albeit on the slim side.
I just picked up a 42 Delraiser (also with the green label) and I'm currently waiting...
Hello TFL,
As said in my previous listing, I'm moving along jackets that don't get enough wear.
Up next is my Aero Premier Highwayman in Russet Vicenza horsehide made by Julie Leitch. I picked this up from a fellow lounger back in March and I've worn it outside a total of 3 times. It's a...
Hello TFL,
Summer is here which means jacket season is over. I'm trying to consolidate my jacket collection and moving along the ones that haven't gotten much wear (and now that I've gotten a couple more, that's not likely to change in the future).
First up on the chopping block is my Double...
I see. That's good to know! Didn't realise they have been changing construction methods. The only pictures I've seen are on Instagram and on TFL and most if not all of them have the more streamlined unibody construction which I prefer.
That's a good idea. Thanks Marc. Not something I'd expect...
Yea I've reached out and based on the same photos I posted here, their initial assessment is that it isn't a defect. They've agreed to look further into it though, so I sent a short video to provide more clarity.
I agree that the fit is great and I'm definitely not looking to return. Perhaps...
So I just received my ELMC Californian and I have to say it's lived up to my expectations! The leather on this is fantastic. It feels like the leather that Vicenza wants to be. It makes the jacket very comfortable and easy to wear. I usually feel like half belts fit me weirdly but this one feels...
I have it though I think Greg used Nappa for mine. Sounds quieter and has a more matte look compared to Aero's Nappa Lux (from pictures and videos, never owned an Aero in Badalassi before).
It's still pretty squeaky after owning it for 3/4 of a year.
Thanks for all the responses folks! The leather does feel the thickest out of all my jackets but wears comfortably because of how soft it is. Very luxurious feel.
The pictures don't show that it's also roomy at the lower back area. The jacket only has about a 2" drop from chest to hem. The...
Not so much a danger to the jackets, but another thing to mention is be prepared to have cat fur everywhere. My moleskin lined jacket gets it the worst. Fur sticks to moleskin like crazy. Gotta have a lint roller handy.
That's what I was thinking. My monkey arms will make the sleeves on a size 40 too short. I certainly didn't expect it to fit this roomy though, given the measurements. Yet another example of how numbers don't tell the whole story. All in all, still really happy with it.
Went a little crazy this week since I got a new job. Just received this Double Helix Deviant in my usual size 42. Anyone else thinks it looks a size too big? I could layer a hoodie underneath comfortably.
Also coming next week: ELMC Californian in Havana Brown, picked up during the ongoing...
My cat has never scratched any leather products I own. She has left a bite mark in one of my bags though, but just the one, so she must not have liked the texture. I still wouldn't leave leather pulls on jacket zippers hanging around her though, they go crazy for them, especially kittens.
