The previous owner mentioned that he changed the underarm brass grommets himself as the stock Aero ones were coming loose. He restitched the lining with a different colored thread. This is the picture he shared, I think he did a decent job.

I recently picked up this Aero August off of YAJ and unfortunately for me, the measurements are shorter than what was posted by the seller, so it doesn't fit me.
Here are the measurements:

Shoulders: 18.5

It really is. Mine is also fraying even though it's less than a year old with light wear. It still closes fine though. I've read that sometimes it happens but doesn't get any worse after the initial fraying.
