Here is a Double X that I cleaned up and I’m impressed with the quality of the felt. It is lighter weight and has a nicer hand than the 3X Beaver Resistol’s that I own (174g vs 220g). Brim is 4” and crown is 5 1/2” open (the 3X’s I have are 6” to 7” crowns). For now it is shaped as a shorty... -

I love the Fed IV!!
Nice job on the crease — it looks great! I had a Heritage Banjo Patterson and I removed the liner to make it a bit more breathable. The fur felt on mine seemed indestructible and it was my go to hat on bad weather days. -
