Tomasso, great site! However I only paid $30 for the watch, don't know if I want to dish out $20 for the links! Ouch! But it is definitely a possibility, thanks.
I just picked up a very nice Seiko Automatic watch that keeps great time. However it has a stainless band that is too small for my wrist. So I am going to get a new band for it. Stainless watch with a white face, very traditional. Should I get another stainless band or go leather? I wear both...
+1 on Omega!
I've got an Omega Badger Brush I love. Nice big handle and is a great brush! Their plant is in Venice? We are thinking of going to Italy next year with Venice being one of the stops. I will HAVE to see the plant!
Gotta love C&E Nomad soap, such a nice lather!
61 Fatboy
Derby Blade
Avon Wild Country AS Balm
Avon Wild Country Cologne
Time for 4 passes and buff, BBS, gotta love the feel of the Nomad and it's performance.
Old Spice mugs
Yup, the milk glass ones are some favorites, the very first series didn't have ribs inside to keep th soap from spinning round, but all after that did, I believe. They are low and wide, similar to a ramekin in shape, and work well for lathering right on the soap.
BTW, I just...
Just reread A Christmas Carol by Dickens, what a treat. I think I'm going to dig out the copy with George C Scott or Patrick Stewart and watch one of 'em tonight.
Sunday Morning
Lots of time today,

Fresh Derby blade
Gillette Fatboy
C&E Nomad Soap
Omega Badger Brush
4 passes and ooh so smooth
Avon AS balm
The Burma Shave mugs are very handsome, but not as good as the Old Spice mugs for actually building a lather. My OS mugs get used for soaps, while the Burma is holding fountain pens.
tonight's shave
Skipped yesterday and today, so while everyone was gone got trimmed tonight
Going to do the Van Dyke again.
Derby Blade in 61 Fatboy
Omega Badger
Experiment soap #3
Clubman As
3 passes and feeling much fresher!
Today was an early start 3:45 am. Carried a Javelin and ATX today as I expected a headache, thankfully it was an uneventful day, with the exception of backing up over a skunk! But that is a story for another time and place......
Today back to the experimental soap.
Omega Badger Brush
Fatboy G3 with Derby blade
Hot towel
Clubman AS
4 passes and almost BBS [rats, missed a spot under the chin]
I was looking at the Stacy Adams classic boots online the other day. Anyone have experience with their recent stuff? After being severely disappointed by Florsheim last month, I am a little leery.
NOS Parker 21
Just got a NOS Parker 21 Super in dark green. Looks to be uninked, flushed and filled with Parker Quink [what else?] and it started right up, smooooooothed out in about 2 minutes and is ready to roll! Pics later, I promise......
To my many friends I have made here, may God bless you this Thanksgiving!
Psalm 100
1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his...
