    Maybe, but a saddle stitch on knife sheaths and gun holsters isn't exactly the same as this kind of sewing.

    I know how to install snaps, and if that's all I need to do to modify an existing collar then I'd rather just do that than try making one. I don't really know how to sew or have a sewing machine...ect. I can stitch holsters and knife sheaths, but actually sewing is not a skill I have.

    I wouldn't even know where to begin, I've never actually seen one in person. Btw I didn't think adding 2 snaps in the location I need them was something that required much skill, but maybe there's something I just don't know ?

    Old woolrich barn jacket and the OG-108. I'm also wearing my grey CCS vest under the OG-108 which you can't see, that's my favorite vest and I'm actually wearing it most days.

    I need a little help / advise

    I have been shaping and training the collar since I last posted in this thread, and it is noticeably more comfortable now. I just hope the work I did on it doesn't end up being for nothing if / when I can ever get ahold of a mouton collar for it.

    I'm wearing my TLW Chicago PD surplus again, I did a bunch of work on the collar yesterday and Monday night to get it conditioned / softened and shaped and it's definitely getting more comfortable.
