What a beautiful Model 70, timeless elegance. Picked up the 1911 and it is a fine one. Frame seems to have it's original bluing, the slide is a Colt, but a later one. Looks to have been built in September or October of 1917.
Found a nice deal on a fine holster today, an El Paso Saddlery job to go with my Sig 239. Sadly this will be the last pic of these grips as it usually wears Crimson Trace ones so these are going to auction.
Robert, I think you are right on the T grip operation. I have heard it can be a long wait, but the good news is their stuff seems to be as good as ever!

Picked up a used Remington 1911 this week. Had a few blemishes that cleaned up well with a little steel wool and 3 in 1 oil. Gonna use it for Zoot Shooting as all I have to do is black out the white dots on the sights.
