Bas, this is not my first Sig, I am admitted snob when it comes to their autos and S&W revolvers! That is why I feel so dumb at not checking the gun for proper lube, there are currently 3 Sigs here now, the 239, a 229R in .40 and a 220 in .45.

Not vintage, but a modern classic, Been wanting a Sig 239 for a long time and picked this up today. A SAS in .40, the wood grips have been replaced with some Crimson Trace ones.
An interesting note to this. The FBI just released new studies involving their new choice for a duty handgun. They are going with the 9mm due to the improvements in JHP performance and reliability in the last 25 years, since the Miami Shootout.
Okay, maybe slightly off-topic, but i have to recommend Clive Cussler's Isaac Bell series of novels. Set in the early 20th Century, great stories and he actually knows his vintage firearms.
