Wow! That is a nice Stetson and the box appears to be in good condition too. That was a bargain. I was actually the one who returned that...I felt that the "only light wear" description was pretty inaccurate (though perhaps that betrays my ignorance in hats)...plus it was pretty stiff, which...- Chiliarches

Stetson 100 Mint w/Tan Presentation Case
The one 7X I have handled was so stiff I returned it (not to mention all the stains that the seller didn't describe, along with the replaced sweatband)...but it had a cattleman crease in it and seemed conceived as a Western hat. That might support this "style" difference in the felts...- Chiliarches

Assuming this is accurate - 58.75 cm puts you at a touch over 23". Unless you plan on stretching it (which often seems to go awry for many people), I'd give it a pass. A $155 experiment seems unwise. But it's your choice of course. :)- Chiliarches

Won this beauty on eBay for $144 shipped (link here)... but it's too big for me. It is labeled as a 7-1/8, but it's definitely in the 7-1/4 range - the opening measures 7 13/16" length and 6 8/16" width, which according to this calculator puts the circumference around 22.7".
