This reminds me that I have a woman's Brooks CR that I accidentally bought which I need to probably just offer up for the cost of shipping.
I don't expect to get rid of it otherwise because I don't think too many women are here buying leather jackets and it's pretty small.
Midwest, but they're mostly work gloves.
There's also Hawkeye, and another that I can't think of who do USGI contracts.
I like the tan USGI cowhide work gloves, they're very durable.
Stiff and require some break in but durable.
I don't even own sweat pants, and unless I'm in bed trying to sleep I'm fully dressed in real clothes.
pants and a belt, a hat on my head, handkerchief flashlight pocket knife and pocket organizer in my pocket.
My attention span is too short to just sit in my Lay-Z-Boy all day.
I never know...
At least you have central heating and air.
I have a heater but haven't used it in 20 years, so I use space heaters.
For the living room I recently got a cool TV / media stand with a built in faux fireplace heater.
A few years back PG&E tested the heater for me and said it's working fine, but the...
I do frequently wear jackets leather or otherwise at home, especially out in the workshop though that will generally be one of my beaters.
More often than not though , it's the vest I have on under my jacket that I'm wearing at home.
I do not like hoodies and haven't worn one since I was a...
I'm sure happy to have it, and to have gotten great deals on both.
I still can't believe the vest only cost me $16 and change plus shipping, and the jacket maybe not that kind of practically free deal but very reasonable for sure.
With all the awesome jackets here, it feels good to be the one...
Why don't they count ?
I like leather jackets, but do love wool more.
Vests also go great under a jacket, and wearing a leather vest under a wool jacket or vise versa gives you a little of both.
I think I only made 8 purchases this year.
#1 and #2 definitely have to be the pioneer wear suede I just bought this month.
I don't really have a lot to say except that I really love them.
The jacket is just plain bitchin' and the vest which is also cool fits me very well.
#3 would be the...
As I was taking the new pioneer wear suede trucker off this evening I heard some jingle, I looked in the pocket and realized there was another surprise hiding inside.
A 1969 quarter and a 1974 penny.
I have put them in a little plastic zip bag with that Suede care pamphlet I found in it, and...
I think it's a borderline amount of suede, but the fit of the vest just wears perfectly under the jacket.
My all my wool vests are a bit roomier on the fit and bunch up a little when I button the jacket up so I decided to try the pioneer wear suede vest.
Eventually I'll get a wool vest in a...
One of them is just the neck knife I was wearing, but the other things yes I did add them.
all the things I added to this jacket are sentimental to my last pitbull who gave me 14 great years of the 16 long years she lived.
In those 14 years whe was my absolute best and sometimes only friend...
I don't sell, but this 1990 dated Taylor's leatherwear Chicago PD surplus jacket is something I will never sell.
It was my first leather jacket, it fits me very well, and it has some sentimental value.
I am definitely happy with this one.
A great late Christmas/ early birthday for me.
There was a nice surprise too with this original pamphlet stored safely in the pocket.
I don't know if I can say this jacket was made in 1973, but early to mid 70's is a good estimation I suppose.
This early 70's pioneer wear suede trucker just arrived in the mail.
It came with a nice little surprise in the pocket.
I assume it came with the jacket, it's dated 1973 which sounds about right.
