I'm going with Vanson older comp weight like others here. It looks great and seems the right weight for leather as well, not too heavy or too light. I have jackets that probably look better but Vanson seems to tick all the boxes fit and comfort wise. I'm looking forward to wearing my E again when this whole summer thing blows over. Damn.

I believe this thread is cursed
(for me anyway:D) so I post this with trepidation…despite jacket weather being several months down the road, I’ve put this Aero on everyday since I received it. I think this is actually my ***All-Time*** favorite jacket, leather or otherwise, ever. It’s the first jacket I’ve owned, from any maker or era, that I would not change a single thing about. It feels perfect. Combines many elements of previous jackets I’ve owned perfectly and fits and wears like a dream.

It fits well too. You know what this means… you have to start your jacket odyssey again, this time in size 40!

I have eight leather jackets currently. I don’t know how many I have owned in total. 25 maybe? 30? Well, it’s actually not hard at all to pick two favourites out of all those. These are forever keepers, no matter what happens.

Damn, it’s been only a year but I already feel that I have to modify my original post. I still consider the Brooks and the Oakbrook forever keepers, that has not changed. However I have bought two custom Thedi’s in the last year and they have replaced the other jackets at the top. If I had to choose to keep only two jackets it would be these two:

From the ones I know these two are also my favorite ones in your collection. The fit on both is perfect!

Your Aero Hercules is perfect, I kept enlarging the picture to see the build quality and it looks perfect.
Really shines at the price they charge compared to some of the more expensive competitors

Everyone knows that people here buy and sell jackets like crazy. With that being said, what is one jacket that you will never (willingly) part with and why?

If you have photos, now is the change to boast about your favourite, staple jacket

That is one of the most cowboy jackets I’ve ever seen! Did you add the accessories yourself?
One of them is just the neck knife I was wearing, but the other things yes I did add them.

all the things I added to this jacket are sentimental to my last pitbull who gave me 14 great years of the 16 long years she lived.
In those 14 years whe was my absolute best and sometimes only friend.
Her last license tag as the zipper pull, a deer stag whistle I made to call her is attached to the badge hanger, and 2 little dog bone charms that were hanging from her collar are attached to the name tag holder on the right side.
