I just scored this Chippewa woolen mills for $35+ shipping on ebay.
I have no clue on the age, but I think they went under in the early 60's if I'm not mistaken.
That's what I have suspected, I figure it may not technically look perfect but just about feels it.
The suede has a little bit of that hefty secure leather jacket feel with the unrestrictive comfort of my sherpa lined Wranglers jacket.
This has me thinking, can a leather jacket possibly have...
It has cinches on the back with snaps, but I wear it this way so it doesn't interfere with a belt knife which is something I carry quite frequently.
As for the sleeve width I see what you're saying, but I'm skinny ( always have been) and I assume that any jacket with straight sleeves and no...
Because I do not even know of a place near me, how much the work would cost, or how much they should be shortened, I am perfectly happy to live with the sleeve length at this time.
Maybe I will eventually get the sleeves altered.
I've had this vintage Pioneer wear suede trucker a couple months now, and I wear it every chance the weather permits.
Of course I have also posted it quite a bit too, hopefully not too much.
I am generally happy with the fit, I don't think it looks too big ( not that I'm experienced enough to...
The sun is out, it's not raining, and it's in the low 60's with minimal wind
For me that means I can finally do some plinking for the first time in a few weeks, and it also means It's a vest kind of day.
It's not too cold today, but I needed to go with something that would keep out the crazy wind were having so I went with the old Taylor's Chicago PD and the pioneer wear vest. ( honestly I almost always wear a vest though, and it's been one of my main two )
It's a cold wet one today and I've got errands to run, so I went with the og108 and the m65.
This one may not be much of a looker and the years haven't been kind to it ( I certainly never took care of it as a teenager) but it still gets the job done.
It's been really wet and windy this past week, so I've mostly just been hanging around the house and working on things in my workshop when I'm not at work.
My choice of shop jacket has been this 70's JC Penny's Big Mac.
I was unimpressed with the quality and heft / thickness when I got it in...
This 1970's JC Penny's big MAC isn't a great quality wool, but I really like the cut and fit.
It's a good one to wear when working the shop or around the house / yard.
