You are finding the hard truth regarding carry. The old rule of "No gun to big to shoot or too small to carry." When able, I too carry a Commander or Sig 220. Usual carry is a Sig 239 and my "always" gun is a Sig290RS.- DeaconKC

Well, I got the 1911 Bob-tailed today. Man, it feels SO good in the hand and carrying it IWB was a pleasure. Fusion Firearms makes the MSH, Novak rear sight and a Williams fiber optic bar up front. G10 grips and a Wilson checkered front strap piece round it out.- DeaconKC

Yeah, but I screwed up. I saw the tag in the store saying Triple Lock, went brain lock, looked the bore and condition over, never realized it is actually a very early Second Model, not a Triple Lock. I know the differences, yeesh. Paid $1250 for it so i think I am still okay.- DeaconKC
