Picked up a couple little guns for Christmas, one of the SCCY 9mm's and stumbled across a lonely little Tanfoglio .380 for $100! Cleaned up real nice. Waiting for Wednesday and hope a Bulgarian Makarov I bought online comes in.
Well, all the parts are in for my .38 Super 1911. It all goes to the gunsmith for fitting the internal parts, then I will put a high polish blued finish on it. Going for a look from the 1920s, wish me luck!
No pics because I shot all the test ammo, but the new Ruger ARX ammo looks to be something good for us who like vintage guns. It is ultra modern defensive ammo with bullets made from copper and polymer. Screaming fast and very light bullets mean light recoil compared to regular ammo weights for...
Well, I am safe from whispering guns for a bit. Just found a correct slide for my Sept 1917 Colt 1911! A bit pricey, but the old warrior deserves to be correct. Just have to find a short grip safety and it will be done!
Willybob, you will like those MecGars, I run them a lot. They make factory mags for Sig, Walther, HK and several other good makers. Had a bit of good fortune today on mags myself, had a used 1911 mag in our discount bin that had been bugging me for weeks. I need another 1911 mag like a hole in...

Blue Train, Mec-Gar makes great mags for the .38 Super. And Merc, use some bronze wool and a light oil like Remoil or 3in1 [rubbing gently!] on that .38, it will clean it up beautifully without harming the bluing.
Well, if I can figure out how to post pics again, I will post, but until then, I picked up a S&W Shield in .40. Very nice little gun, will probably put some Trijicons on it.
