There was no 11th ID, that is 11th Infantry Division. There was an 11th Armored Division. There was an 11th Infantry "regiment" which was part of the 5th ID, i.e. 5th Infantry Division.

Try using flickr.com that is what I use to print up pretend sweetheart photographs from home for our unit's mail call. Use it like a search engine for photos, using keywords like WW2, sweetheart, homefront, etc

The one thing I've noticed about all the FIG photos albums posted around is they seem to focus almost entirely on Barracks shots, you see very little photos from the battle let alone any armor.

I do a mail call for our unit with 25+ piece of mail for the big reenactments. I use a combination of regular mail and v-mail. Vmail is easier because there is no manual handwriting involved, you just need a handwriting font, and text.

Yeah I notice that site, has update things since 2001. The have statements like "... for the upcoming HBO special, Band of Brothers" on their website. So I wonder if there still in business, plus if they having update their site, those prices may be real old, and out of date
