I work for a large PLC. The only employer I've ever had, but the job keeps changing. Started off doing data entry, now senior software developer. It's good that some companies still believe in on the job training! :-)
I'm not a re-enactor or a vintage collector, I just like well constructed products that fit correctly made from natural materials.
I don't earn a lot, so I can't afford tailor made, therefore I like repro / vintage inspired companies.
You would probably get my custom by starting off with...
I've got a pair of deerskin gloves lined in silk (made to order rather than bespoke - I think you can draw round your hand and fax/email them the picture, but I went for the more conventional option of telling them my glove size)
The leather and stitching are good quality. They did muck up the...
That's a lot of hype for something that turned out to be merely average.
The accents have been toned down a lot - presumably so that Americans can watch it without sub-titles :-)
Last night's Wipers Times was better, I would happily watch a series of that.
Objects of Use also have some good looking products, although I've never bought from them so can't comment on the service:

But well worth considering if you're not in as rush.
I've got one of their jackets & the service and finished product were excellent.

You specifically mention selling. As far as i know, items sold for use in the UK have to comply with current regulations regardless of what the plug regulations were at the time of manufacture.
That's why a lot of 2nd hand sellers specify that items are for decoration only, and many even cut off...
The English police whistle looks the same as the type used by the military - most well known for their role in the first world war, sending troops "over the top" from the trenches.
I've got one, although it's much later; used by my grandfather during the second world war when he was a military...
Yes, I remember ice on the inside of windows as we only had fires downstairs.
It was terrifying on the occasions that it would melt slightly around midday and fall to the ground with a CRASH.
There's an interesting conversation about this watch here:
