Ingo:
Thanks for posting. The jacket looks outstanding! It's my favorite design of all the Luftwaffe jackets.
Somewhere in England, John Lever's pager is beeping right about now. :)

It took about 4 weeks for Eastman to ship my B-3 jacket from the time I ordered it. It did take a while for Gary or Rob to respond to e-mails but they did reply to my e-mails within a few days.
Don't throw in the towel yet...

Yes, absolutely it is sheepskin. It's basically an inside-out leather jacket. The outer flesh of the sheepskin (with the hair on) is against the body of the wearer while inner side of the sheepskin is the jacket outer surface.
Hopefully that helps complete the answer your question!

That jacket looks like it was made just for you. The fit is very, very good. Thanks for posting. It's nice to see a positive Lost Worlds post.
It looks like you had a wonderful time in France, as well.

Noel
What about comfort?
I understand the arguments being made about the Arizona jacket's style and the fact that it has a one-piece back but what about the comfort of a jacket made from synthetic material? I truly cannot wear a synthetic jacket otherwise I would die of dehydration (brought on by...

Wow! That's a monster grizzly! Who made that jacket? Is it a vintage jacket or modern production? I'm really curious about the zipper. It looks like the early Talon zipper with round hole puller.

+1 on James' Werber post above. The jacket fits well - not overly tight. The Star probably has a much lower collar due to the lack of collar stand; whereas the Werber has a high collar. I have a fairly long neck so the Werber works well for me.
Just my 2 cents worth.

I'm a wearer also. To be honest, I have never missed having handwarmer pockets on my A-1, A-2s, M-444, or B-2s. I always wear gloves with the heavier jackets and I usually wear pants with on-seam pockets with the lighter jackets so I can just slip my hands in my pants pockets if they get cold...
They have a "vintage" horsehide, which I believe you can order by request. This is an aniline finished horsehide instead of the heavy spray topcoat on their regular horsehide.
You may want to ask to try on a stock jacket for size though - custom orders are not returnable. :(

I had a good experience purchasing a Lost Worlds B-2 from Stu. I talked to him on the phone for probably 10 minutes and he addressed all of my questions/concerns before I ordered.
One issue that I had with their B-2 jacket was the belt. There are not enough holes in the belt for me to get a...
I have one of those Willis & Geiger A-1 jackets. It's really comfortable to wear because of the capeskin material. As far as accuracy goes, it's not the most accurate out there in terms of color (the leather is too light colored) but otherwise it's a solid jacket. Mine has 11 years of hard...
He wore one in a short TV production called "The Unlighted Road" where he played a Korean War veteran. If you search on YouTube, you can find the video.
I don't know if he owned the jacket though.

Alternative method
Alright, this may sound ridiculous but I got really tired of the stiffness of my Lost Worlds B-2 jacket, so I actually beat the hell out of it with an oak mallet that I made to set metal grommets, snaps, eyelets, etc. I clobbered it for about an hour total and it really...
