It's just nice to see something that is getting harder to find or in such good condition these days, I don't think anyone would think of it as showing off. It's historical and it's very interesting.:)
Remember, you never get a second chance to make a first impression. So this is what you'll be doing as the customers arrive, and probably what they'll remember as well as the quality of the merchandise.

Arriving on May 3rd until the 8th, The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh will pay a State Visit to the United States of America, to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the Jamestown settlement.

The colour is supposed to be of Royal Purple Velvet as depicted in the picture below. This is the material that sits inside the centre of the crown.

Seriously, it is a great milestone to pass and look forward to many hours of reading and learning more from the lounge members.
To get back on track, :) my curiosity was in knowing if the whole classic style interest extended beyond the usual US/Canada/Northern Europe/Australasia area. I don't think I've seen any posts from many countries beyond these, with the exception of Japan.

I remember in the 60s it cost 10 GB pounds to emmigrate to Canada, and Australia too. If you came back to England before 5 years you had to pay the full fare for the outward and the return journey to get back.
