Diamond Dave's Buco J-21 in size 44 (not tagged). Horsehide, all brass hardware, talon zippers and pulls, the teacore is starting to show through in some areas, notably the cigarette pocket. Some "bleed" of the black topcoat on to the zip tape on the D-pocket (see picture). Received August 2019...- timmbo

Diamond Dave - Buco J-21
Has anyone ordered with Dave recently? I paid my deposit nearly 9 weeks ago, and at the time was advised it would be only a 6 week wait. At 6 weeks, I was told there would be a longer wait due to delays with the tannery. I’ve not heard anything since. What has everyone’s experience been?- timmbo

On you? If it were me, I’d like it to be 0.5-1” shorter in the body. Perhaps similar to you, I like to wear my trousers fairly “classic”, higher rise, sitting at the belly button/true waist - ideally, I’d like a jacket the ends at the bottom of the belt line. With the J-22, my guess (based on available measurements) is to go "true to size", i.e. if you're a 42" chest, go for the 42 - I'm typically a 40 in McCoy's (001XXJ Denim Jacket, 66 Nylon Down Vest, M-65), have a 40" chest, so would likely go for the 40 (although I am also 6'...- timmbo
