Unfortunately I'll probably have to let the rest of Leola's patterns go. I'm not going to say how many patterns I bought on Ebay in the past 24 hours but it's enough patterns for everyone on the FL to sew a wardrobe.

Leola's patterns Wouldn't that be funny if I started collecting nothing but Leola's patterns? I don't know who she is but she has great taste in clothes.

Reply to Goldwyn Girl Hi GG, Have you tried freecycle? They have individual city sites on yahoo. At least in NYC, I've seen a lot of free ones available.

I honestly think it looks lovely as is. If I wanted to embellish it a bit, I think I'd put on a nice pin.

Thank you Lady Day. I didn't even think about having to redraft the whole thing. I'm glad I posted this question before I started.

Grading up... a lot Thank you for your help Joie. I've tried that method before and it didn't work too well for me. Clearly I'm doing something wrong. I usually use the slide method which works well for a few sizes but I'm unsure about basically doubling the size of the pattern. I tried...

    Sewing Lessons & FAQ

Grading up... a lot Hi I'm new here and I am so inspired by the clothes that people have made. I want my clothes to come out looking as nice as your's does. Now maybe if I spent less time looking and more time sewing, I'd be much more productive! I've recently bought a lot of vintage...
