I seldom eat breakfast, it may be the most important meal of the day, but it is by far my least favorite. Usually my breakfast is a cup of coffee.
In a perfect world, I would eat breakfast about 10, 10:30. A bit of cheese, some prosciutto, a small, relatively unsweetened pastry, along with...
I noticed the same thing in Argentina. It is especially noticable after spending a lot of time on Aerolineas Argentinas, and then taking a flight on an American airline. I think Aerolineas has a height/weight and a headshot requirement, and at the airport you always see a group of young, thin...
I have ordered hundreds of dollars worth of stuff from Alex at Front of Russia and it has always shown up every time. He has nice stuff, especially for the WW2 Russian reenactor.
Alex also throws in fun little extra "freebies" in your orders, which makes getting your order sort of like...
My "golden era" is about 1875-1918. 1918-45 is a "silver era." 1945-1965 is rapidly tarnishing "bronze."
If I had to pick one year to live in, I would say 1912.
A club tie is like a secret handshake. Only those "in the know" are supposed to recognize what it means. Adding a logo makes having a club tie pointless, you might as well just have a solid tie with a huge logo.
I didn't bid on the auction because it would never fit me, but my current mission is to have that hat reproduced in my size. The homburg is probably my favorite style of hat, and that hat is just too beautiful.
I would take a look at the 1911 forum to see what you like and what gets generally good reviews.
If you are interested in a "vintage" style 1911 you have fairly few options. You can buy an original gun (expensive) or a reproduction/new production model which can be relatively close. Colt...
I would say that you shouldn't try to dress "better" than your co-workers in the sense of greater formality. You don't need to be the only person wearing a coat and tie if nobody else ever wears them to work. It will just look odd and segregate you from everybody else.
What you should do...
Leningrad and Stalingrad are actually two different cities.
Leningrad was originally St. Petersburg, then Petrograd, then Leningrad, now St. Petersburg.
Stalingrad was originally Tsaritsyn, then Stalingrad, now Volgograd.
Not so much a plot as a character: the brilliant/supernatural/idiot savant/technowizard/telekinetic wunderkind. This usually seems to come about because adult idiot savants are scary or weird, or because kids are otherwise usually useless to most TV/film plots and thus need some wierd abilities...
I am not sure about beards and fedoras. I think beards go best with hats associated with time periods in which beards were worn. I like wearing a homburg or tweed flat cap with a beard. Boaters also look spectacular with beards.
I think I would rather go hatless than wear a hat without a tilt. With caps I sometimes get such a jaunty angle that it looks like it is almost about to fall off.
The best part is wearing a hat with a brim where you can get a "sweep" such that the lower part of the brim is on the "down"...
I think it could work. I would give it another week of growth, that might fill it in a bit.
I shaved my beard off for work and am still regretting it...
