Yeah, I also think that the word 'jerks' is very apt for the people on both sides and for practically everybody in the U.S. government as well as every other government. The people on the ground, of course, are the ones who will be harmed by this. The only people who stand to gain from this...
This is so stupid. Both sides are so stupid. This thread is almost certain to get out of hand at some point when people start blaming various sides. What a crappy day.
Peck, Stow and Wilcox is the maker. Looks about like the Agricultural

I agree with you about America. I lived in Italy for awhile and I have been a few places, and I know of no better nation. But a lot of the stuff about social mobility and "dreams coming true" seems a little on the mythologizing/nostalgic side for me. Those reservations aside, I think you are...
Just put on an early collection of PF singles--Apples and Oranges. But man, Syd's is such a sad story. It was a bummer about Nikki Sudden too, he had just played here last year.
Are you saying that this part of Snopes is unreliable? Can you show evidence for that? Because if not, you are just blowing smoke. Find a quote where he said it, or stop repeating the lie. It is as simple as that. Snopes is just a convenient resource because I know that it generally has...
Speaking as a registered Republican who did not vote for Gore, you are completely wrong and misinformed. He never said that:

I really hate it when people repeat lies so often that they are taken by the gullible and the ignorant for truth.
I know it has been mentioned in other threads, but 4711 is so classic and so inexpensive that there is no reason why everybody should not have it. A really nice unisex for the summer. It smells good--like citrus and a bunch of other stuff.
One question I would like to ask of a master perfumer is why people buy any of the scents made by Creed. They claim to use the best ingredients in the world, and they all smell bad to me. It may be my body chemistry, but I know many others who share my feelings about this esteemed line of...
Yeah, I understand the reenactor thing, but Paddy's question "why do you like to have it on you?" and doc.freddy's reply both suggested that people also carry them while wearing civilian dress.
Personally the issue for me is one of intellectual honesty. Study after study has found that compared to other passenger vehicles SUVs are more dangerous to those in them as well as those around them. At this point the burden is on those saying they are safer to produce some evidence for that...
Vintage Jess,
What does the U.S. automobile industry have to do with free markets? In a free market economy there would probably be no domestic auto-makers. As it stands now, the government subsidizes the american auto industry in a variety of ways including immunity from environmental laws...
Pilgrim,
SUV drivers can't and don't "pay the bill" if their choice of car results in negative effects on others. For example, SUV drivers don't pay anything for the results of heightened road fatalities and emissions; instead, those costs are spread out over society in the form of air...
This really got my curiosity up. Why do you do this, if I may ask? Do you show these cards to people, or do you keep them to yourselves? I am not judging you, lord knows I certainly do plenty of odd stuff myself, but the idea of carrying what is essentially a false or counterfeit identity...
I looked all over that poorly designed site and didn't find any striped t-shirts. Could you give some indication of where they are because I can't find them?
