I put forth my best effort in my job wether I like what I'm doing or not. I take pride in what I do and I like to do thing right the first time, liability or not.

Finally got to see it today. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I went into it knowing Jack Black couldn't act, and thus, I was not disappointed in that. A digital Kong had more range of emotion than Black did. Silly huh? But my favorite character was Lumpy the Cook. Second was Hayes the first mate and the...
Section10: I know exactly what you mean. But because of liability we don't cut any slack. An underground crew had to dig up an entire stretch of sewer line because it just didn't flow and we weren't going to sign off on it and neither was the City. Boy were they ever mad at having to do that...
McDumpster aside, don't even get me started on the American Work Ethic. As far as I'm conserned they have no idea about a work ethic. Show up, do a half assed job and leave. I work in the Land Surveying industry and see a lot of constructions sites that hire the day labor that can't even...

You wouldn't get too many glances in my neck of the woods. Where the introverts stare at their shoes and the extroverts stare at your shoes.
You may get the occasional kid yelling, "Mommy! That man's zipper is down!", but that only because it's at their eye level.
Cheers!

Hemingway: Can't wait to see that number. Do you have the lid to match as well? I can't remember if I had asked you this before or not. Where did you get that scarf in your avatar? is it cashmere? Very stylish.
Cheers!

Welcome Chuck!
Glad to have you amongst us. This place is a great repository of information about all things vintage and interesting. Like Hemingway had said, once you get your things, you must show them off. We love pictures around here.
Cheers!

Besides, who could wear a clerical and a boater and make it look and sound so smooth?
No matter where you are, if you need help, dial 'O' for O'Mally.

Personally I would wear either a Homburg or a Bowler. Both in black. for a little mor e Casual note, I would opt for a very dark Borsalino.

MrBern: Entertainment Weekley said that was one of the scenes Perter Jackson cut from the film along with about 4 others. Not sure why it was left in the trailer, but that happens sometimes.
Cheers!
