Welcome Douglas! Love the hat, you did a great job on the shape of it. You could almost be seen in a photo of some folks in 1930's Europe enjoying an early morning coffee at a cafe going over scientific papers. Again, great looking hat.:eusa_clap
Cheers!

Not quite a beater...
But this is my favorite everyday hat. It's an Adam Premier with a 2 1/2" brim. It just feels good when wearing it and is very versatile. This was taken at last years Christmas party.
Cheers!

I think I have found my new favorite next to my Adam Premier. Very little stretching was needed for a perfect fit. Considering the age of the hat I thought there would be more stretching needed to get it to fit right. Just goes to show, you never can tell.;)
Knowing my luck though, the...
Great looking Lid! Well done.:eusa_clap Do you feel youthful in it?;)
Interesting brim treatment, rather nifty. Definately a 'C' crown like magus said.
Cheers!

I've accidently left one of my larger lids in the cab of my truck once and it had shrunk down to the perfect size. Not that I would recommend this method but it seemed to work for me. Stuffing gift wrap tissue under the sweat band does take up a little room while the hat is naturally shrinking...
Well for a mutt it is one classy looking lid regardless of the shirt.;)
Wear it in good health, or in ill health to make you feel better for that matter.
Cheers!

Here it is...
The 3X Open Road has finally arrived! Sorry, no photos just yet, I had just picked it up from the post office this morning. The box that it was shipped in was in sorry shape, so I was worried that the hat was smashed but it made it through unscathed. It looked like a gorrilla had...
Fantastic hat Marc! I love the European 1930's styling that the owner put into it and what a great looking liner. A-One Job there!:eusa_clap :eusa_clap
Cheers!

10 to 10 1/2 for me. I haven't worn a 9 in 23 years.
Those are great looking shoes though. There were some beautiful black cap toe dead stock shoes about a week ago, did anybody here get them? I do believe they were a size 10 as well.
Cheers!
Dan
Hopefully this shows up in the right order...
Here's a few photos after some shaping. I'll have a few later in action.
Sorry about the gorrillas arm in those shots. Those are all I have for the time being. More to come.
The glue looks to be original...
Marc: I swear you are the 'Fedoralover' of shoes. In this catagory you are the luckiest dog on the porch. How and where do you find such beauties?
Cheers!
Dan
I'd like to be able to find a vintage style baseball cap like the one Bing Crosby wore in either Going my Way or The Bells of St. Mary. I believe it was St. Louis.
Cheers!

All is not lost..
I have an Adam Premier that is supposed to be a 7 1/4 it fit more like a 7 1/8 but I managed to stretch it up to a 7 3/8 without any distortion of the crown or snap brim. It has to be my favorite every day hat. Go slow and it should be fine.
Cheers!
