    Appaloosa (2008)

So far the book has been pretty good. The dialogue in the trailer matches the book to be sure. Even the inflections that you read into it are played out in the trailer. I think this one may pan out to be a good western. Cheers! Dan

Land of the LOST as a movie

You bet! I even still have the graphic novel in my collection somewhere. Bought it back when this film came out one Sunday morning when my Pop & I were getting the Sunday paper and doughnuts. Saw it in the magazine rack and soaked it up. Then we saw the movie on tv and thought it was pretty good...

    Appaloosa (2008)

Now, altthough westerns haven't enjoyed great success in theaters once in a while some good ones pop up. Appaloosa may be one of these. It has a great cast to support the story. Might not be Oscar material, but I think it will entertain. This one has a trailer link in it...

    Camptown '1957 Legend'...Excited About It!

Funny, I didn't even think of that when I took that shot. Good eye. Whenever we go to Disneyland & I'm wearing a different hat I try to get a shot of that skull with my hat on, which ever it may be. :) Who know's what it will be next. Cheers! Dan

    Camptown '1957 Legend'...Excited About It!

You know, it wasn't that awful. The temps were supposed to be about 83° in Anaheim, but I think it was more like 86° in the Parks with all of the asphalt and warm bodies there. I only had to remove the hat a couple of time to wipe the sweat off of the brow. All in all very comfortable to wear...

    Camptown '1957 Legend'...Excited About It!

Kudos again to Ken who has delivered another rock solid product. This one has to be the easiest of the three thus far. Very flexible yet stiff enough to hold it's shape well. Where the Metropolitan is a little thicker and a tad more rigid right out of the box, the Legend is as soft as a hat is...
