    My favorite shoe! These were my grandfather's, but unfortunately too small for me. If you never have tried a pair of these you owe it to yourself. Comfortable and very high quality. Beautiful deep cordovan finish. They are in excellent, lightly used condition. Sale Withdrawn.

    The International Wool Felt Consortium

    By far, look/feel/quality/durability of fur is better. That said, I do have a Scala wool felt that I bought a year or so ago super cheap. I waterproofed when I got it and use it as a wet weather hat; still looks fine. EDIT: No, I don't prefer the wool over fur. :D

    It was supposed to rain this morning so I just grabbed my el cheapo Scala (gasp!). I water-proofed the wool so it works well as a rain hat.

    Thanks fellas... I'd hate to end up making an ugly hat that no one wants to wear! I will probably keep a couple and put the others up for sale. Thanks for the tip on S.S. hats... I will check them out the next time I am in Philly.
