??? Well Gentlemen, Like most old hats, they were small. I put one on and it seemed about 6 7/8 I have a bunch of vintage hats here that are my own and they are all small as well. Guess they didn't eat too well back then??? Rodney- North Valley

My Two Cents As a "master Hatter", I tell people that they should not use more than a nice horsehair hat brush to dust off a hat. Using a sponge or stiff brush damages the finish by pulling up hairs that lay just into the nap of the felt making it look fuzzy. As for spray on cleaners, BAD...- North Valley
