This is an interesting point. I don't know exactly what you mean by "assisted," but I have found that people are more likely to open doors for me/pull out chairs/help me with a heavy shopping bag, etc. if I'm dressed in my vintage style. He'll just have to face the fact that for you to look your glamourous self during the day, you have to set your hair at night. As StaceFace said, the end result justifies the means. You two have been together long enough that I think it's not a big deal. A cute scarf might help too.- ScotchWhisky
