I actually totally believe it. 3 seconds is enough time to get a lot of light gathered. As long as everything remains perfectly still it SHOULD work well. I will have to give this approach a try! Thanks for the tips! -

That is a beautiful hat. Stunning. I especially like the edge. Whats that called. Bound-edge? I may have to get that on my next VS.. which will be a while, just got two. one is in the mail, but i really like what Art did with the edge. The binding is not 'too-wide' like i find most edge... -

I watched the Maltese Falcon a few months ago.. but I guess I missed that line cause I had to look up what your were talking about on google. I had no idea the word 'Dingus' came fron there. I have not yet started naming hats, but I may have to now... this thread puts ideas in ones head. -

Ok. I cave. :) Plus i do like to share the joy... Art says its 3-4 shades darker than oxblood but definitely not black. Looks like its quite bright in the room, but the EXIF data on the photo says the flash did not fire. So I am of course still without any real idea what the color looks... -
