My Penman Hat Collection

Lots of dents to remove
As was said, steam for the dents. As for the liner, others recommended to me to not use glue as it removes felt if and when you need to replace the liner. Either let it float or have it sewn in by a pro. Actually there is a tutorial on how to do it yourself somewhere, written by Steve or Mark... -

how do you store your hats in dry temperatures...
This is going to sound weird, but if you're really worried about it you could hang a different one in the bathroom each time you take a shower...kinda do a rotation. The steam will be plenty of moisture, but not too much. Once a week per hat would probably be more than enough... -

If you're worried about moisture, you can always use a dessicant (bag or whatever). Putting them away during a particular arid day and or while the house AC is running on overdrive would also help. As for acid concerns, you've got plastic to put over the ring in the box or you could put some...
