    Thanks Fiver64. I only suggested the AAF HQ patch because I would be wearing a USAAF crusher cap and USAAF khakis with the jacket, so I thought that that it would compliment the look. I'll be thinkin' about it.

    I just want the jacket to be as faithful and historical to the original, and, if it means getting the AAF HQ sewn or painted or not, then I will do it.

    The thing is...I think I forgot to mention it, is that the AAF HQ patch could be hand painted, as opposed to embroidery. Thanks everybody for your advice.

    Not-Bogart13, Thanks. What I meant by "behave" is the floppier felt. I am also worried, that, if I get this hat, I won't bash it correctly and it will look like something other than "Raiders." (I've never bashed a hat before) So, If I get it, I will get it in Sable.

    Thanks mrdaddy. That's exactly the link that I was referring to. I just forgot to post the link. I am planning on wearing these khaki shirt and pants under my A-2 jacket with my crusher and maybe a black "officers tie" and a USAAF web belt to pull off the look I want (USAAF Officer).

    Should I get a Christy's "Adventurer" Should I? I mean, I want a hat that "behaves" like the "Raiders of the Lost Ark" fedora? Does it? What can be customized for the "Adventurer" for it to be like "Raiders"?
