    I'd go for it. I mean, judging that most crusher cap repros start from about $60 and reach onwards, for a piece of real USAAF history for about $40 more, you can't really go wrong.

    Just chiming in with a question about US Authentic itself, not the jacket. I've heard that they will send you a "try-on" jacket so that you may see if everything fits ok. Are there any extra charges to this, such as shipping charges etc.?

    Stearmen, you are right. Definitely gets to you how real BoB is and the small details, like the pilot desperately trying to unlatch the cockpit of his Spit so that he can bail out. This stuff REALLY makes a difference.
