    Hat Hanging Idea

I've heard that if you put your hat on the bar you have to buy a round for everybody there. I'm not gonna take the chance!;)

I have the same bash in my Fed IV Deluxe as the top two in your photo. I figured it was a "Diamond" bash.

    Is anyone here a Journalist?

Rock journalism is people who can't write interviewing people who can't talk for people who can't read. Frank Zappa, quoted in Linda Botts, "Loose Talk" (1980);)

    I dont care...

I hate it when they put modern pop music (UGH!) in period films. And don't call me "Chief"!lol

    I dont care...

MAN! How great would it be to work in a film like that and be paid off in wardrobe! This film (and Mr. Depp) might make these fashions "cool" again.

    Great Movie Soundtracks

Another thing I love about Frank DeVol is that he portrayed "Happy Kine" of Happy Kine and The Mirthmakers...the house band on the late night tv talk show parody "Fernwood Tonight" in the '70s. I also Have an Ella Fitzgerald lp on which he provides the music and arrangements.

    Great Movie Soundtracks

I'm no expert or big fan of classical music but I always thought "O Fortuna" was by Carl Orf from his Carmina Burana (which I love). Did Orf "borrow" that from Wagner?

    Great Movie Soundtracks

I love the John Barry scores for the 007 movies. He also did the scores for Zulu & Dancing With Wolves. Henry Mancini's score for Wait Untill Dark has some great micro-tonal sections. Very spooky/creepy. The movie Casino has a great "various artists" soundtrack. Gato Barbieri's score for Last...

Free Armani jacket scam (Anyone have this great opportunity yet?)

A few weeks ago while walking in midtown Manhattan one evening, a couple of fellows with heavy Italian accents in a parked late model SUV ask me for directions to the Lincoln Tunnel. After giving them directions, the driver engages me in small talk and gives me a story that they are heading back...

    Levis 501 STF w/white thread & hardware?

Thanks for all the responses. I was thinking about keeping them but the white hardware is a real turn off for me. Sears'll take them back. Unfortunately it looks like they're out of my size in the "Iconic Rigid". And at $34.99 each too!:(

    T-Shirts in the 1930s - 1940s

Some (a lot) of the '50s Sci-Fi/monster movies had teens in dress of the day and the styles were specific to the locales where these films were shot. "Cheepnis"! edit to add: Ted Nugent (pictured above) was in a band called The Amboy Dukes (mentioned above).
