I love this one. Arragements by Nelson Riddle and great selection of songs.
Another thing I love about Frank DeVol is that he portrayed "Happy Kine" of Happy Kine and The Mirthmakers...the house band on the late night tv talk show parody "Fernwood Tonight" in the '70s.
I also Have an Ella Fitzgerald lp on which he provides the music and arrangements.
I'm no expert or big fan of classical music but I always thought "O Fortuna" was by Carl Orf from his Carmina Burana (which I love).
Did Orf "borrow" that from Wagner?
I love the John Barry scores for the 007 movies. He also did the scores for Zulu & Dancing With Wolves.
Henry Mancini's score for Wait Untill Dark has some great micro-tonal sections. Very spooky/creepy.
The movie Casino has a great "various artists" soundtrack.

A few weeks ago while walking in midtown Manhattan one evening, a couple of fellows with heavy Italian accents in a parked late model SUV ask me for directions to the Lincoln Tunnel. After giving them directions, the driver engages me in small talk and gives me a story that they are heading back...

Some (a lot) of the '50s Sci-Fi/monster movies had teens in dress of the day and the styles were specific to the locales where these films were shot.
