    I remember reading that he was quite a womanizer and heavy drinker, so liver failure is no big surprise. I really like his oftenn forgotten other solo hit "Right Down the Line". Such a smooth voice, quite a loss.

    Every kid, i believe, has some odd notion that is not quite correct. This was mine. I really thought the world was black and white until about 1960! The comic strip "Calvin and Hobbes" made a joke on this many years ago, too. That is when I realized I was not alone in my misguided youth!

    Yes, I did have one, but it has been gone since the 70's. I never had a pet rock, but I do still have a working 8-track player, but I am afraid to try one of the tapes for fear of it coming completely apart!
