Yeah, it has the same strings and the same scale as an Ashbory. I also play bass...mostly on recordings anymore. This is the new bass I had made for me.
I prefer a 34" scale.
The most worn of all my hats is a vintage Barbisio. I would love to have a couple more. Any more info you have about Barbisio or Cervo would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, Pilgrim; I agree with Tonyb. I've cut down a few cowboy-style hats with just a compass and a pair of sharp scissors. Unless you have a very steady hand, I wouldn't do it with a razor blade on a flat surface. Sandpapering really does cover a multitude of flaws.
