Here's from Thursday.
Knox 15. Pearl Grey with Mauve/Lavender ribbon.
Beautiful.
Needs a little steam or reblocking, but she's a beaut.
Hope it passes muster.

That is just crushing.
Rest well Mr. Stevens.
The Rocketeer comic reingited my love of the golden age. Just loved the style and feel and look of EVERYTHING. I'm going to go re-read ALL of my Dave Stevens stuff today.

I'll chime in here and let you know, on my Jaxon Monk, the sweatband looks and feels like real "live" leather.
In fact, I'm wearing it right now!!
I like to snap the front of the brim down - looks and feels sporty!!:D
dv
I'm sorry I don't know anything about your uniforms, but I absolutely LOVE the crazy pants pockets on the first uniform, and the jacket pockets on the second.
Lovely stuff...

HA HA You live in TRACY!!!
I work here every day M-F.
It's a nice town. I grew up here, moved away for college, and back to work....
Can't get away from this place.

There's an easy reading book available at Barnes and Noble titled:
An Incomplete History of World War II
There's lots of stories in it that covered aspects of the war I had not known about, or thought about for a long time.
Radar, Enigma, Japan's invasion of China, "Go for Broke"...
YEAH, that's right!!!
In the X-Files, Mulder gets away from the red-headed pizza delivery vampire by scattering sunflower seeds on the motel room floor.
As I remember, the kid was quite upset about it, but HAD to stop and pick them ALL up.lol

So, to clarify, do you actually SEE the monster? Does it make a highly visible and or lengthy appearance, or is it only brief glimpses?
I ask because my mother wants to see it, but only if you can REALLY, REALLY see the creature.
She loves "bad" monster/sci-fi movies and has some...
Lee Young, maybe, I can't rightly remember...
I think all of the others have passed, but I've been wrong before.
dv
(I could be thinking of the wrong JATP recordings though)
Here's a "resource" I found while searching WWI stuff.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned/seen his page before.

Lots and lots of pictures of patches.

Optimo is the top of my list, and probably will be getting a call from me REALLY soon.
I just miss doing business face to face with people...
I guess we really are in the future.
dv
thanks for sharing your experience with that establishment.
Guess I'll have to package and send away....:(
Oh well, better to have it done correctly.

I've been searching, and found The Hat Guys in Oakland, but does anybody know of a hat cleaner closer to me?
I'm looking in the Sacramento, Stockton, Modesto area.
Trying to avoid travel to the bay area if possible and get somebody closer to home to clean up my Dobbs.
Thanks in advance...
