Another old timey decoration we used to make used a balloon and some thread coated with starch (I think).
Blow up the balloon.
Pull thread through starch solution (don't remember what sort of ratio of starch to water, or if straight starch) while wrapping around balloon.
When starch is...
We made christmas ball ornaments ages ago.
Get a styrofoam ball from the craft store.
Get a whole mess of straight pins - flat head or fancy ball ends.
Use sequins and ribbon and beads.
Stick sequin or beads onto straight pins.
Jam pin/bead combination into styrofoam.

I absolutely loved the old Robotech series when I was younger.
Watched about half of them again recently - and STILL enjoyed them!!
Long story arcs, compelling characters, problems with solutions, problems without solutions, deaths of important characters, emotional trauma.
Good stuff...

I bought a "deluxe fur felt indiana jones" fedora from eBay a while back, in black. I am very satisfied with this hat, even though it is not a "real" fedora hat. It doesn't have the cachet of the dobbs, stetson, or knox label, but it fits me well, and looks fantastic on my head.

Maj. Danger,
That's kind of the direction I'm thinking at this moment.
There's a really fun vintage genuine nose-art A-2 on eBay (but the bid is up over $1000 - daddy don't have that kind of scratch) and I'm feeling kind of inspired, hence, the question above.
Thanks for all the input...
Hello gents,
Looking for - hopefully - a simple answer to a simple question.
Does the USWings Signature Series Goatskin A-2 have a one piece back, or a multi-piece back?
If you own one, can you answer the above question for me?
CAVEAT - I am not trying to start another discussion...
Don't feel badly, I only watched it on cable. It didn't cost me anything except time really. I know, I know, you should have changed the channel - well, I kept expecting something to happen. You know - something funny.... Oh well...

Good luck out there....
