Just Ordered...My First Fedora!
My Sidney fits true to size. David Morgan told me that not all the Akubras fit the same though. I've haven't worn mine in the rain (afraid that the crown would taper), but maybe I'll give it a try. -

I have a Sidney that I bought recently and I like it. It is soft and easy to shape, and mine fits perfect. I guess it's my starter fedora. -

I drove through the snow in Atlanta on Saturday, but once I got a little east of Atlanta, it was all rain. I'm surprised there was no snow in Chattanooga. There was snow at least 50 miles north of Atlanta. It was a good day for a hat. -

That's a nice hat. I talked to Gus on the phone a few weeks ago, and really enjoyed talking to him. He talked more about the Atlanta Braves, Bobby Cox, and life in general than about hats. He's quite a character, and I'm sure that adds to the enjoyment of owning one of his hats. -

New Gus Miller Custom "Bogart"
What did Gus do to the edge of the brim on this hat? Is it just a raw edge with a seam around it? I can't quite tell from the pictures. -

Brim width of Akubra Federation
hatsdirect.com lists the Brim 70 x 73mm. The brim dimensions are listed under the thumbnail, and not the hat description, for some reason. -
