No need for steam or water the felt is completley pliable! I was a little nervous with the english on the phone but am so satsified with Gus Millers hat I have no temptation to even search ebay to look at fedoras. Best hat Iv'e ver owned. 110% satisfied.
Would recommend Gus Miller to anyone who wants a great hat.
