Going to the movies with Senior Citizens

As a heads up there are age minimums in Florida these days for many of the developments and "villages." Anyhow, I found it difficult to find a movie my grandparents and I could watch together, but Art and Foreign films work well for us.

    Moleskine Notebooks; Have One?

Name, but I have no perminate address. They are the greatest thing for me because when I open mine up, I say to myself, "Spill your brain out and make it look like Di Vinci's and you know what I have read some translations of his notebooks and they are everything from sketchs to his shopping...

    WWII Espionage

Most Stuff by H. Keith Milton is great. The Ultimate Spy Book and the Eyewittness Book on Spies (Titled: Spy) are great. Also, check History Channel Shows, like Sworn to Secrecy.

    What Are You Reading

I just finished a book on AIDS and orphans in Africa from a Washington Post reporter and The Difference Engine. Both good reads, the former is depressing. I am just starting a new Dirk Pitt novel which are my "fun and light" books, when I do not feel like reading classics, history, and heavy stuff.

Do You Consider Yourself To Be An Artist?

I am just a unique kind of guy with many odd talents, crafts, and skills. I make my own longbows, collect toy soldiers, and shine my own shoes to name a few. I draw and design furniture and men's accesories for fun (wallets and lighters mostly). I don't follow popular styles unless I like them...

Another Edition of Mycroft's Book Review

Alright Boys and Girls, the name of the book is The Difference Engine. It takes place in Victorian England if Charles Babbage's (sp?) mechanical computer (engine) worked and what would happen to the world. Great Read for Sci Fi, Steam Punk, and History fans. Anyone else read this one?

What about hooks (wirelike ones) that are sown on the inside, like on some military jackets? Or cordinating buttons?

    Wallets

;) I would go with an International Wallet or Card Case and use a money clip, it is a lot safer and cooler. Oh, and an international wallet is one with a bifold cardcase that has an ID pocket on the inside.

    Moleskine Notebooks; Have One?

I love my moleskine. It is like my Di Vinci Notebook. All of my ideas, poems, discoveries, sketches etc. go in it. It travels with me always in my messinger bag. (I am too scared to loose it). I love the Varsity, but looking to upgrade, thanks Hemingway. Anyhow, I have the blank page ones, but...

My father has the same wrench on the wall of his office. I will see if I ask about it today and look it up in his antique tool book as well, when he goes to the office Monday.

    Connery's "Allan Quatermain" Vest

I think this vest looks a bit like one I saw a photo of years ago in the Imperial War Museum from the Boer War on a Boer, maybe. Anyhow somethings I gatherered from the photos: -Looks to be of a hide or leather -long like a hunting or shooting vest/jacket (possibly cut off sleaves and...
