    Leather hats?

    I have owned a few over the years. They tend to be hot, heavy, and prone to shrinkage. The fedora style leather hats don't breathe like a felt hat. I currently own a dark brown pigskin driving cap.

    Here in Southern California, the thrift shops near upscale neighborhoods have plenty of them. Well-off people from colder climates migrate here and never put them on again. After their original owners croak, the furs tend to wind up at places like Goodwill.
