Ask a Question, Get An Answer About Outerwear

Anyone have an example of a black jacket with blue/navy stitching? It’s not quite “contrast” stitching… but curious to see how it looks. Thanks.

    STRUM LEATHER ?

I agree... when you're in a client-facing area it's a different ball game. Got a friend in consulting who was gifted an Omega Seamaster from his dad and was proud to wear it. Wore it to a client meeting, and his manager told him not to wear it at the client site again because they complained...

    STRUM LEATHER ?

Since you brought up Lost Worlds, look at the Ryder. I wear it to work and while I wouldn't call it formal, it doesn't give off moto vibes either.

Star Glove Co by Lost Worlds is best ever

No handwarmers. Just the D/lighter pocket combo up front.

Star Glove Co by Lost Worlds is best ever

Makes sense - wear in good health. I really do like the cuffed sleeves and how the bold D-pocket just takes up about 1/2 the torso. On a slightly unrelated note, I'm glad people are noticing the leather. Confused me when I saw past posts saying how lifeless and bland it is - which it's...

As @JMax put it in the Finds & Deals Thread: "Awesome. Beautiful. Amazing" - some seriously beefy lapels. How do you compare it to the Trojan?

    Concern about Buco J-24 Sizing

6’7” with 42” chest sounds more like it’s in custom job territory. You’ll most likely find the RMC to be too short in both body and sleeve length.

    Which One Fits Better?

The second one fits you better in the chest and shoulders but blows up at the waist - unfortunately making you resemble a snowman. While the first one is slightly oversized, it looks more proportional and is the better fit imo

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

@Monitor did a really good illustration of how a seam can influence the shape of the back. The key is the shape of the pieces being connected. If you just connected 2 straight edges together, then yeah it doesn’t do shit lol

Yeah, I get the Black Mass & Vanson connection, but Whitey Bulger just isn't doing it for me... must be an off day
