Thank you. I wear it fully zipped with throat latch closed. The latch comes off if you choose. Especially warm and a comfortable jacket to wear.
Do you or the moth have any ideas? The leather trim and buttons look similar. Never heard of a ZIP branded zipper. It has a Canadian feel.
I like! It reminds me of a recent purchase in wool, with leather trim, a Zip zipper on the European side. I will do a shot it tomorrow. It is sorta of a cafe racer look!

Looks to have a pot metal stop box used during the war. some had a #3 stamped for 1943. These unstamped could be the same time. Height of war time shortages.
