Definitely, I will start with Aero and Eastman. After a bit, I'll show her the Cockpit USA one. Follow up attack with Lost Worlds, etc. Then I'll show her the 5 Star offerings. Mwahahaha...
Wow, that is an awesome Irving for the price and you definitely got your money's worth. I will take your photos and show them to the CEO and CFO to warm her up to the idea. My plan is to show her enough Irvings that when this thing shows up she won't care!!! LOL.
5 Star definitely makes good...
Looking at this conversation, 5 Star is looking very good for my next jacket. I'm thinking G1 but with real thick goatskin, dyed completely seal brown.
I work with a lot of Navy guys, and just showing up with a G1 like that will turn heads, LOL.
Thank you all for the comments. I'm not giving up on the belt just yet. I kinda like the terminator style, with the buckle and belt are hanging loose, unfortunately this buckle is anything but lightweight. I can see it banging on the gas tank and car door and just about anything else if left...
My Vanson CHP is finally getting a bit more malleable after wearing non-stop for 2 straight weeks. I did get the Vanson soft belt, so I want to get the opinions of the community on wether it looks better with the belt or without. I kinda like it with the belt, it gives it the finished look...

Oh my God, that Irvin is beautiful. I need to convince the better half that I "need" that jacket. I need to plan my attack so she doesn't kill me for even suggesting it.
The collar on the one I just got is a little lopsided, I'm attributing it to the "new-ness" of the leather. Hopefully it will settle down when it breaks in. But I agree, the collar on the Oxford is more masculine. I wanted a one piece back, so I'll settle on the wimpy collar.
They didn’t have the 9D when I went to the showroom. I got the Enfield in Comp weight and I am not disappointed. That thing is bullet proof as yours will be.
I hear you with the smaller sizes. I searched the classifieds for some size 48 and there is very little. I finally decided to bite the bullet and get them. One interesting note is that the Enfield in Comp. weight is much heavier than the CHP2.
As for breaking them in, it's going to take a...
I just purchased two new Vansons. One Enfield, which I had the gun pocket added, and a CHP both in competition weight leather. Man, that is some stiff leather. Surprisingly enough, the Enfield is heavier than the CHP, go figure. I'm looking forward to breaking these bad boys in.
The build...
