I'm ready for winter... Aero ANJ-4, which I don't find as warm as some people have described. I actually find it just right for the North Eastern part of the US. This sucker is heavy clocking in at just over 7 lb. Next is Aero B3, 42-5110-P in Redskin. This one is definitely lighter than...
Aero's customer service is excellent. When ordering, you have to trust them when it comes to sizing. They know their products and will advise you properly. If you choose to ignore their advice, you're doing it at your peril because if something isn't quite right, it will be your fault.
I've...
Great jacket, awesome color. By the way, I have a similar frame, would you mind sharing the measurements of the jacket? P2P, Shoulder, Sleeve length, and Hem.
Dude, you shouldn't buy any more jackets, rather have your girl buy ALL the jackets !!!
Seriously, that is an amazing jacket, such a great fit. Congratulations.
Nothing against Five Star, but by the time you figure out how the jacket fits, you've purchased 3 of them. I got my B-3 from Aero (Redskin 42-5110-P) and I've must have exchanged at least 25 emails with them about sizing. Lots of photos with tape measures, etc. Five Star will not help you...
I have almost the same measurements and fit great in an Enfield size 48. It has all that you’re looking for including a beefy #10 zipper. If you want a more form fitting you could try a size 46.
Just for your reference, I have the ANJ-4 from Aero in the Seal sheepskin with the Dark Seal Vicenza trim. This jacket is substantial and very comfortable. I have used it almost everyday in the winter, basically because it is sooooo comfy!!! The front pockets are a godsend, I can carry my...
The fit is amazing. I hope it didn't take you a lot of trial and error to get a fit like that. That leather looks thick and bullet-proof!!! Congratulations.
By the way, the pocket on the Trojan is epic.
I'm selling my first attempt at a FiveStar G-1 jacket. The leather is goatskin in Seal Brown. Knittings are also Seal Brown. This is the 55J14 model that I've had made with some modifications. Unfortunately the sizing came out all wrong, but that's a story for another post. This jacket is...
And you guys thought the story ended with the jacket in my hands. Well, no.
Turned out that the collar latch was way too small, unable to close the collar. No way to close it without chocking yourself out!!! I reported this to Carrie at Thurston Bros. and she immediately took care of the...
